Samuel Adams III

• Samuel was active in the Colonial Wars. He was in Colonel Pepperell's Regiment for the invasion of Canada. He drowned in Merrymeeting Bay in Brunswick, Maine on his way to meet his York Military Company at the news of the Lexington Alarm.

Samuel married Elizabeth Young, daughter of Jonathan Young and Margaret Stackpole, on 5 Nov 1734 in York, York, Maine. (Elizabeth Young was born on 23 Apr 1710 in York, York, Maine and died before 1765 in York, York, Maine.)
