• Dudley was a first settler of Cornish, NH in1765.
He was Deacon and founder of the First Church of Cornish 29 Sep
1768.
He served in his brother Jonathon's
Regiment in the march to Ticonderoga 27 June 1777and was quartermaster of General Poor's Brigade.
He explored
the west branch of the White River and purchased large tracts of land in in Bethel and
Gilead.
