• He appeared on the census in 1810 in Jay, Oxford, Maine.

• He appeared on the census in 1820 in Jay, Oxford, Maine.

• He appeared on the census in 1830 in Jay, Oxford, Maine.

• He appeared on the census in 1850 in Jay, Franklin, Maine. Oliver and Sarah are ling with son Reuben.

• He was buried at the North Jay Cemetery.

Oliver married Sarah Butterfield, daughter of Ebenezer Butterfield Jr. and Elizabeth Emery, on 27 Mar 1799 in Farmington, Franklin, Maine. (Sarah Butterfield was born on 17 Sep 1772 in Dunstable, Middlesex, Massachusetts and died on 5 Feb 1862.)

We don't know who Oliver's parents were. Other than the tombstone what little information we have is from various census data, a marriage record, and a notation by his grandson from  "Leading Citizens of Oxford and Franklin Co. (1897)."
